i made JD this awesome shirt. i'm so proud. of the shirt AND my little girl!
she absolutely LOVES posing for pics for mom
we got there at 9, the took her back at 9:40 and she was finished by 11:15, not as long as I had originally thought. we didn't get to see her until 12. she was sleepy sleepy and didn't want us bugging her.
we loved her nurse. she was so great. it always helps to have nice nurses.
josie had 2 sprites and some crackers and even a cookie like grandma G's "house house" cookies. (that's a funny JD made up on her own!)
after surgery, JD was quite groggy but comfy as could be
she was laughing with us and smiling and
then we knew we were finally ready to get her home
she was great. we were all nervous going into this, not knowing how she'd do, but the nurses were all so great and made her feel as comfortable as she could be. she could even share with us some of the jokes they were telling as she was falling "asleep".
why wouldn't the skeleton cross the road?
because he didn't have the guts!

I'm so proud of my Josie D. She amazes me every day, I think I say that every day, but it's true.
JD has the courage that I still lack and I'm so proud to call her mine!
