planned friday hike was cascade springs, but we didn't leave until later and decided that'd make for a long day! so we decided to head up payson canyon and try out a lake.

we ended up at the first payson lake. very perty.
now from the looks of these pics there are a few things you can tell...
Drew is in the stroller - he got a little car sick and tossed his cookies in the van... he waited behind
ERaine jaunted along and fell quite roughly and scraped her knee... she waited behind
Max looks as though he's an outcast, however, he got along very well with the twins. what a trooper. he is such an amazing kid. i even got some awesome shots of him with the lake behind but realized they were on his mum's camera. bummer. i'd love to have shared them.
Little B & ERaine are the bestest of friends, i'm sure i've mentioned this before.
we traveled along with little path and stopped to watch some fishermen.
we continued to follow the path where we crossed a stream.
one of the twins found an awesome shell, which i lost in transit home, but it was cool.
we stopped on the other side and having Little B fall a bazillion times, I decided we needed to head back pronto. which she ended up falling even more and even worse. the path is quite rocky.
it is quite a beautiful little lake.
once we got back to the vans, we had a van-picnic
it was lots of fun to sit in the van, eat some goodies and watch charlie & lola.
