And so much more......

Jon's mom made him an amazing quilt. Dorothy bought this when Jon was born and has kept it tucked away. She found it recently and decided to pass it on. Jon was born in July 1976 in Pennsylvania so it was a huge patriotic deal. It really is amazing.
Jon and I had an amazing Christmas with our family. We are so blessed!

And Christmas, of course...

My beautiful girls!
I couldn't ask for anything better than this!
Santa got the EXACT doll she wanted! Santa knows! All I want for Christmas is an Electric Guitar!
Meet Eddie (as dubbed by uncle Dave)
Does a 4 month old REALLY need all of this? Bad Santa!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve is always a blast! New PJs, of course, and this year, we've tried to start a new tradition with a new board game that the whole fam can play. We had a lot of fun!

December...

December is such a wonderful time! PURE CHAOS! Love it... Here are a few highlights!
Colds, Flu, Whatever! It may be hard to tell, but Brynn got her first cold...SO SAD!!

SNOW SNOW SNOW! The kids loved playing in the snow! And they finally got to use the backyard! (you can't tell but there are weeds galore! thank goodness for the snow)

Christmas Programs at school. Both girls did a wonderful job. Chloe stood there, she did sing, but no actions. Josie had her very own part in one song "I broke my bat on Jonny's head"

O Christmas Tree

The kids love setting up the Christmas Tree! They love seeing all of the ornaments we've collected over the years and especially the ones Gma & Gpa Gardner & Jon's Aunt Barbara have given us. Our tree looks the same every year, but it suits us! Not too fancy, not too plain! Just FUN! Merry Christmas!

Let it Snow!

The snow is wonderful! We've had 2 big snow storms so far - they love to come on the weekends! The girls love playing. Hopefully we'll have a white Christmas!

Random

So, do I change my blog look a little too much? I like to switch things up every-so-often. I wish I knew how to create my very own blog outline. That'd be cool! Anyway, sorry if I annoy you all too much! But, please, enjoy the tidbits of my babies, that's what's really important! Have fun! New pics are coming!

Brynn's Blessing

Sunday was Brynn's Blessing. Jon did a fabulous job, as he always has. It was pretty swell! She was so quiet and reverent for the rest of church, which is so not like her and considering she hadn't eaten since 3:30am. She was a perfect little angel for her special day. Her dress was from Grandma Gardner and she looked so adorable, no, beautifully angelic in it! It was a great day to have our family with us. Thanks to you, even though our church was at 8! What troopers! You're wonderful!

Happy Halloween!!!

Halloween was fabulous as always! Unfortunately, I didn't get to dress up, but it was fun being able to spend time with the kids for a change! I did get to go to the bank and see their fun ideas, cereal characters, so clever, sorry I missed out! My girls had a lot of fun, especially at school. Josie was a Twisted Witch, we found her costume at Maceys, the GROCERY store! Chloe was a Skeleton, I found a skeleton pattern online and painted craft foam with glow-in-the-dark paint. She loved it! Brynn was a Flapper, yes a 20's Flapper. That was a last minute, night before, throw it together, thing. I had so much fun putting all of these costumes together. I live for it! Hope next year is just as fun and exciting! Hope all of yours was safe and fabulous!

Updates

This month has been fabulous! Josie had a piano recital and did awesome, as usual. She loves playing the piano! Chloe is into her dress up thing, as usual. These are some Leiderhosen(sp?) that I wore as a youngen. What a poser! BrynnE has finally started smiling. She's had quite some crabby moments as well these past few weeks, it's been tricky, but now that these smiles are coming, it makes everything all better! The basement looks fabulous! We're doing good! Hangin' in there, anyway! Hope you're all well!

FINALLY......

After many moons, the basement is FINALLY finished.....sort of. The bathroom still isn't complete (soon) and there is a little bit of finish work to do, BUT it's livable. Thanks to all those who made it possible.

What a month...

So, September has come and gone, now you can wake me up... (hoping some of you get that) Brynn will be 4 weeks tomorrow, Chloe is still liking school and actually had a friend, named Chloe, come over yesterday. Mom's weird about the whole friend thing but it was nice to have her invite a buddy over. Josie's doing awesome, she went to an Activity Days activity yesterday and had lots of fun! Her homework takes up a lot of her time, since she is easily distracted... but she's happy, I think...
We're finally on the finishing touches with our basement. Carpet next week and WAHOO! We can finally move in... we are cave dwellers, if you didn't already know.
Life is good. Tiring but good. Hope you're all doing well!

My Hottie

I love Jon. He's a keeper. He's so great at being a husband and a dad. I hope he knows how much I appreciate him. The things he puts up with... Laya!

September 21, 2007

So, it's amazing how life can be so busy, and I don't even have a job! It's only been 2 weeks and I'm wondering how in the world I am going to survive this. Chloe and Josie are in school and that really doesn't seem like a saving factor. How do all those mothers do it? I know I'll survive, I'm only one of a million, right? All I'm saying is, I NEED A NAP!
The girls are loving school, although Josie did come home and say "Only 8 more months of school left!" Hilarious! It's amazing to me how you all of the sudden realize that they're not babies or toddlers anymore, in a moment, it seems, those little cuties change and grow up! My girls are so super smart! I love them to death! I am so proud of them!
Also, wanted to say thanks to Jon, who set up those cool slide shows and Tuckett's Tunes. It's nice when you have someone to help you out! Love ya!

They are so excited to have her here. Hopefully her crying won't ruin that love... She's doing very well, so far she's a keeper! It's great to be on our way, moving on in life, we're ready to get busy(er)! Jon should be updating our other website if you're interested. www.angelfire.com/hi5/tucketts Check it out from time to time if you'd like. Chao! GT

School Days

So, school finally came. Josie's off to 3rd grade, honestly can't believe it, I totally am not old enough to have a 3rd grader, right? Chloe is now in Kindergarten. They were both so excited and I'm so glad. They love school and learning and all sorts of things that I don't remember loving. I hope they keep that up! I'm cleaning during my only few hours of alone time, getting ready for tresBabe next Thursday, so still busy busy busy. We're having a great time! I love being home with my girls. And they seem to like it, atleast a little...

10 years later...

Well, this past year has been great for getting together with old friends and we all made it to the 10 year reunion. Nichole, Sarah, Jennie, Millie, Shawna and Bethany. An old bunch, although it so doesn't seem like it. It was great to see, well, not everyone, but those few. That's all I really cared about. I hope to keep in touch with them all better, and keep up with the times! I have a great bunch of gal pals! Here's to another 10............

Baby #3

Well, it looks like baby #3 will be coming September 6th. We're all excited! It's going to be a whole new experience considering it's been 5 years since I've done this. I'm starting all over again! I'm nervous, but so excited. We still have not picked a name yet. We have a list, but we can't agree and nothing quite feels right just yet. We'll see when she gets here. If any of you have any fun name ideas, do share! Hope all is well for you and yours! GT

Chloe's Exciting News

After a few weeks of Chloe insisting that her "tooths" were loose, she insisted upon having an apple because she was sure that was going to make her tooth fall out. Well, it did. She was so excited! It was late at night and her and Josie ran around the house with tons of excitement, giggling, and jumping around until the late hours of the night. The one next to it is loose, but we'll wait to see how long that one takes to really loosen up. She feels like such a big girl now! She also gets to sit in a real booster in the car, she's now hit 40 lbs, although her diet seems to cause her weight to fluctuate which may put her back if she keeps that up! It's been a fabulous week! Let's hope next week brings more excitement! GT

Happy 4th!

Happy 4th of July to you all! This country is great and today I heard that Kenny Rogers song..."God Bless the USA" I cry every time I hear it. I remember singing it in elementary school programs growing up. I makes me so thankful that I live in a FREE country. I know it's not a perfect country, I don't think any American thinks that it is. But, I'm FREE! To do what I want and a lot of people have sacrificed a lot so that I have that freedom. What would life be like without FREEDOM? I hope you all have a safe and cheery holiday! Love you! GT

Long Time No See...

It's been great this past year for getting back in contact with old friends from High School. I have been able to meet up with Sarah, Nichole, Millie, Jennie, Alisa, Shawna, Ruth & Amanda. These are all some of the bestest friends EVER! The only ones I don't have a photo with are Amanda and Shawna, and I should! Email and myspace are 2 very risky ways to try to find people, but hey, for me, it's worked like a charm and I'm so thankful! I've been horrible at staying in contact with people on a regular basis, but now, I'm trying to do better. We'll see how long that lasts... This past weekend I was able to meet up with Ruth. She hasn't changed! Still so much fun and easy to be around. I do still have the greatest friends ever. I believe that! I hope we can all stay in touch better. It's good to have such great friends!

Josie's Big Day!

Well, Josie was baptized on Saturday. It was such a wonderful day and she was so excited. It was great to see her so brave. I, of course, bawled like a baby, what's new...She's such an amazing little girl and growing up WAY too fast for me! I love her to death and am so proud of her.

Ready, Set, Blog

I'm just testing the waters here on how to post pics. Some of you know how I love photography and this is one of my fave shots! I recently quit my job to be with my girls and looking forward to being home with the new baby this fall. I'm home, selling Stampin' Up!, having fun with my kiddies! What could be better! That's all for now!

The Beginning

Well, thanks to Dee & Melanie, I'm starting my own blog! We have a family website and I have a myspace, but those seem so difficult to post things to. Dee & Melanie have made this look so simple and easy to get to, I thought I'd give it a try. I hope you all enjoy our family updates and please feel free to make as many comments as you'd like. The web is so great for communication!
We love you all! GT
