cousin audrey suggested an awesome hike up big cottonwood canyon, donut falls... apparently we realized we didn't make it all the way up, but it was still an amazing hike and beautiful! i think i'll go back again!

friday june 26th - MOA
our friday hike was rained out
i love him. i think i enjoyed it more than the kids
highly recommended
no pics allowed, but i snapped this one. they had awesome displays of how he created his shots. amazing!
afterward, we had to get some yum yum at the creamery on campus so we stopped. i figured ice cream would be too messy for B so I bought her this krispie instead, that thing is bigger than her head!it was fun.
we stopped up at G&G's to see how they were. it was a nice visit.
then we headed home to relax.
thursday june 25th - jeanna's life
first of all, a birthday shout(yesterday) out to a HS BFF, MILLIE... it's our 30 year...
i had a craving for taco time today. HAD to go to provo, can't SF just get one already? well, they used to but now it's gone...
then i took the kids on a "jeanna's life" tour
this is where i lived until i was 9...
this was my cul-de-sac... #88 on the very end... this is where my fear of poodles grew and grew and grew... hate those darn things!
this is where i bought on of my cars, the coolest store ever, JIMMY'S LOVE BUG... they always had the prettiest cars...
this was our grocery store. a second home...
this was my junior high, now an elementary...
this was my house until i was 13... where i learned to mow the lawn, learned how to love horse-chesnut trees and sell their seeds, broke my mom's china doll's bum cheek playing ball in the house, where MTV became my life, so many memories!
this is a lot where my elementary USED to be... so glad they tore it down so it could look like this... it was a pretty building... it's demise has haunted me...
this is a tree i used to climb... scarred me, literally...
this is where duffy, my pa, used to live, only it didn't have an upper level. we called it "the cave". i used to lay out on that thing where the door now is, it was like a cool patio...
this is where i lived until i was 9...

Michael Jackson
**I cried for Michael for the first time today. I think I'm more sad at his life than his death. It's hard trying to explain to your children what has happened to him over the years. They've already heard their friends call him a freak. How do you explain to a 7 & 10 year old that even famous people may have really low self-esteem and will try at all costs to change themselves, sometimes not helping their cause? It was heart wrenching. He needed so much love. I believe he was in true turmoil, anguish.
I hope he's at peace. Finally.
I'll be honest. I'm a little weirded out. I'm a little sad.
The man had talent.
I'm a fan.

saturday june 20th - Gfam reunion
We had a family reunion with Gpa Gardner's family. It was wet and rainy but it was really nice.

She really loves it when Ethan is there.
Josie ran around with the twins and got soaked. Paco went out and played soccer with them for a bit!
Josie was wearing white pants... in the rain...
B ran around like crazy and went up and down and all around the playground. She was loving it!
Uncle Craig pushed her on the swings. She always holds the swings way up toward the top... not sure why!
Then she saw a little boy hiding in the tube so she joined in and just sat there. Kids were trying to go through but she'd just sit there! She was being so cute!

sunday june 21st - dad's day
Father's Day, of course. Paco wouldn't let me get any pics of him and the girls. I called them all names.
And didn't get any pics of Lynn...we went to visit him on Monday... what was I thinking? We gave him some New York steaks. He likes meat. And he's impossible to buy for!
Hope the dads had a fantabulous day!

monday june 22nd - scera pool w/LinsLu
We went to Orem Scera Pool with LinsLu & kiddos.
It was so much fun! I love that pool!
CJ had so much fun. She finally got her hair wet right before we left!
JD is our little fish! She was right in the water, doing dives and handstands and flips.
She LOVES the water!
Little B was a terrified little ninny. I held her mostly the entire time and she had death grip on me! She was okay for a bit at the really shallow part where there was like no water.
We will definitely go again with LinsLu! We had such a blast!

tuesday june 23rd - mapleton park w/TfamCuzzins
We went to Mapleton City Park. It has an awesome playground, although the slides were hot hot hot. The kids loved the tire swing and the big tree behind them was cool to go inside.
