These pics are all out of order because I seriously cannot figure out this blogger thing... geesh.... this is our life from over the weekend: enjoy :) Ma LOVES to plant in pots. She loves taking the girls to the nursery to let them pick out plants for our pots (we get a few, we really need something to liven up our yard). Then she takes them back to her beautiful yard and plants them. This year, CJ picked cactus', and JD picked these amazing red flowers that I can't even pronounce and I don't have the card with me so I can't tell you what they're called, either... BEAUTIFUL! Ma ended up doing all the work. It was just too nice of a day and Gma's yard is too irresistable to play in... THANKS MOM!!!!

Paco and I cleaned out our garage and found this behind some paint cans... frightening, truly, horrific, totally yucky, totally assuming it's an egg sack, waiting to burst and jump out all over us... I had Juan run and grab something to poke it with...

Saturday we kidnapped some cousins to make music videos, which lasted a whole 30 seconds thanks to a cranky pants Little B... I'd post the video but all you can hear is B crying/whining in the background.

They LOVE to play dress ups... thank goodness for fabric remnants!

Little B loves this pathway in T-parents backyard. She walks up and down, up and down, several times a day... It's cute...

CJ thinkin' she's all hot... GmaGardner gave us tons of wigs and the kids absolutely love them! You can be anybody you wanna be, right?

B was making the silliest faces but she's figured out the whole "cheese" thing so once I got the camera out, this was all I could get out of her, but oh how cute, and of course the bunny ears are so fabulous as well!

JD had her class egg dropping experiment. She chose to get an old 2 liter bottle and fill it with stuffing. She made it to the 4th round, out of 6... pretty good! She was super excited, even though she did wait until the very last second to actually put it all together.

JD received her 15pt Gold Cup for her piano performances. I am so stinkin' proud of her and all that she is so capable of doing!

B and our newest addition AJ.... she wanted to hold him so bad and then was instantly terrified of this moving thing on her lap.... it was hilarious!

Because my middle child is cooler than your middle child

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CJ!!!!!

I cannot believe that CJ is 7! This is unreal to me!

She is the funniest little thing ever! She is definitely the family clown. I write down so many funny things she says and does.

Last night she was lying on the floor just before bed watching a wee bit of TV and I was on the laptop... out of the blue, she sneaks up behind the laptop screen and makes a funny face... I totally didn't even know she was there. She's just random fun!

She is also so kind. She is always willing to share or give up anything... she's sortof toughened up a bit lately after being taken advantage of by a certain big sister, but even then, she still gives in just to keep the peace. I admire her for that.

Yesterday I took her to ChuckECheese, her happiest place on earth... I told her we were going to get Glamour Shots, remember those?, and getting our hair done and fancy makeup on... she was so ticked! It was hilarious... mean mom.... but we had a lot of fun.

So far this morning, CJ has gotten a brand new bike. It's a boy bike, of course. But she's thrilled. Dad also made her pancakes and she chose the color to add.

I hope she has an awesome day at school today!

Ode to my momma

now, she won't read this, she hates blogs, but none-the-less,

i love my momma and i'm gonna tell the world!

"Mom, I love you!"

her response, "what do you want?"

"I'm not your friend, I'm your mother!"

this seems harsh but the most important statement she probably ever made to me.

my mom is truly the most amazing person in the world. and that's the truth. you may try to say that your mom is the greatest, but i hate to tell you that you're wrong.

my mom said i was always a good kid. i think i'm more spoiled now than i ever was as an only child growing up.

i know that she did the best possible job she could have ever done being a single mother. she has sacrificed so much for me.

I OWE HER EVERYTHING!

i owe it to her to be a good mom to my own kids. and that's a scary thing. i have ALOT to live up to.

JD's big run....

I cannot tell you how proud I am of this little crazy-head!

JD has always been athletic but hasn't really had a knack for endurance... ok, no biggie...

This year in preparing for the Hershey Track Meet, JD has just been crazy excited about what's going to happen... in practicing with her class, she was really close to being 1st in most of the events.JD was so nervous.

She decided to do the 50m & the 100m... last year she chose the 400 and didn't do so hot...

She was 1st in every heat through to the finals!!!She was just truckin' away! It was such a thrill to watch her do her best!
I was a proud mama, that's for sure!

I told her to act like she was the track queen of the world.....

Then in the finals............
2nd in the 50m & 4th in the 100m...

HOW AWESOME IS THAT!

I am so proud of my JD! She's so capable of anything she wants and I hope she knows that!
