recently, GpaT had to put his kitty to sleep, it was really sick!the kitty was such a good thing for him, but G&G Tuckett have been putting off getting a new one...
so one day, a visitor came to the back yard and the kids SWARMED the poor little thing! It was a cute little grey cat.
the kids got so excited and talked about making it a "kitty condo"
so Gpa T got all soft and actually built him one from some scraps he had from the new shed.

the kids named him Bandit and so Gpa even made a little sign for the kitty condo
the kids were so proud and excited for "Bandit" to live there
they got him some food and followed him into the cubby. he soon ran off... only to be seen once briefly a few days later....

it was a great spontaneous project for them. they were surely enjoying themselves!
maybe "bandit" will show up again, someday... when they're all at home!

How fun. We had a similiar moment in our house...but it involved Mike and almost 100 bucks at home depot. Yikes.
It was a kitty mansion.
