this week's hike was the HotPots up Spanish Fork Canyon.
we left the little kiddies at home because we knew it was a little longer and tough. we headed up and i seriously loved it! i am loving this whole hiking thing! i could go everyday!
on this particular hike, we didn't quite make it all the way up. we knew it was long, but then we met someone that told us we could expect something "special" once we got up there. expecting they were informing us of skinny dippers we allowed them to tell us, in front of the children.... snakes...
not what we were expecting and not something we really wanted to encounter. we figured by the time we got up there the snake would be gone and we'd be ok... so our journey continued. shortly after that, sara actually ran into a little snake and jumped... that pretty much was the deciding factor that sent us back home! it was still a nice adventure and a good workout. we'll go again, without anyone who's afraid of snakes. we headed down to G&G Tuckett and ate lunch. It was a great day!
