june 8 & 9 - fun

tuesday was great.

 the girls had piano and then Ceej's BFF came over and hung out.  We went and got some yummy ColdStone because JD had earned her spot in the 1 minute club doing her piano flash cards.  It was definitely delish. 

THEN

i decided to introduce my chitlins to the world of star wars.

here's my story:

i remember watching it at my sitters house when i was little, but i didn't retain much nor did i care to reinvest when they re-released them back in 1997ish.  my BFF linslu and I, however, had a jolly old time watching the loons at the theater across the street every night for a few weeks from our tower.  we made up several awesome, totally realistic stories about several individuals, especially the ones dressed in garb.

this is a HOT memory of my old CB days.  i miss them.  they were good times.

so not only am i introducing the girls, but i also decided i'd see what all the fuss was about.

unfortunately, i wasn't able to watch the entire thing. still haven't.

Ceej, however, has watched it 3 times since then. (that was tues, it is now friday)

then i went to work. which is slowly become an extinct job. i'm a bit teary.

wednesday:

i'm forgetting, so give me a minute to invent a story.

oh yes, movie at the scera. dawn of the dinosaurs.

i love the ice age movies. Little B wasn't too interested.  the older girls, of course, were great.

afteward, ran a few errands, well 1 until B threw a hissy.

put together an awesome activity day activity for the girlies.

photo scavenger hunt at the library park where the kids were done within about 20 seconds but really enjoyed the extra play time.  i tried.

weds night young women: first aid. totally awesome. getting really stoked for girls camp next week!
