JD had her district track meet on weds. I came home from girls camp so i could support her.
she took first at the qualifying meet but we knew she was up for some competition.
it was freezing cold and right as her race began a few rain drops fell.
here she is getting warmed up as much as she could.
something about JD is that she prefers to wear a black t-shirt to every meet.
i don't get why. but whatever.
she started getting nervous and i just told her to do her best and to try and beat her time.
she was off to a great start and actually had the lead but the dipped back and ended up taking second in her heat. there was a girl in the first heat that just killed everyone else so we knew she wasn't in the top 2.
we ended up not even waiting to get her time because it was so cold and we had brynn and needed to get her outa there!
i'm so proud of Jos and all that she's accomplished with her track. she tries her best and that's all i care about. she's just awesome.
